2. Instruct the students to practice sewing on each type of fastening with the fabric swatches.
- Demonstrate each technique before they start.
- Provide guidance and assistance as needed.
3. Encourage peer collaboration and problem-solving within groups.
### Assessment (5 minutes)
1. Distribute the worksheet on openings and fastenings.
2. Have students complete the worksheet individually to assess their understanding of the different types of openings and fastenings.
### Conclusion (5 minutes)
1. Review the key points covered in the lesson.
2. Ask a few students to share what they have learned.
3. Provide positive reinforcement and additional tips for improving their sewing skills.
### Homework

2. Instruct them to prepare a short presentation or write a brief description of the fastenings, explaining their function and why they are used in that particular garment.
## Reflection
After the lesson, take a few minutes to reflect on the following:
1. Which parts of the lesson were most effective?
2. Were students engaged during the hands-on activity?
3. Did the students grasp the key concepts of each type of fastening?
4. What could be improved for future lessons on this topic?
## Adjustments
For students who struggle with fine motor skills or sewing techniques, consider providing alternative tasks, such as identifying and labeling fastenings on pre-made samples or using larger, more manageable fastenings for practice.
